This incense holder is carved from a single block of wood, with no joints. Each one is sold as a unique item, so please check the photos and item numbers.
Its simple form simultaneously reveals both the "plate" and "cup" aspects—if likened to tableware. The wood grain flows across the surfaces, shifting in angle yet remaining connected. With its broad, undecorated surfaces, this holder invites you to fully enjoy the natural beauty of the grain.
It can also be used as a single-flower vase for dried flowers or similar items.

From the Artisan [Precautions for use]
- Do not place flammable materials (e.g., paper or cloth) near the incense holder.
- Be cautious when using the holder in windy areas, as sparks may fly and cause a fire.
- Before leaving home or going to bed, make sure the incense has completely burned out.
- Ensure adequate ventilation in the room while burning incense.
- Resin may accumulate around the hole of the incense holder. If left uncleaned, it may interfere with proper burning. Wipe the area regularly with an alcohol-based wet wipe. Resin that has soaked into the wood cannot be removed—please enjoy it as part of the piece’s aging process. Do not use bleach, as it may damage the material.
